Stephen has played a pivotal role in integrating AI technologies to optimize processes, enhance decision-making, and drive operational efficiencies.

Samuel joined NVIDIA as General Manager of NVIDIA AI Technology Center supporting business ecosystems, local joint research and teaching in Gen-AI/Physical-AI and Data analytics on AI factory technology. Our domain focus included AI-powered Intelligence, Fintech, Healthcare/Life Science & IOT/Robotics. Prior joining NVIDIA, he was in Oracle, Sun and SGI on various sales, marketing and management positions across Asia Pacific regions.

Albert has over 23 years of consulting experience and has served a wide range of local and international clients in both the public and private sector, covering business areas such as innovation and technology, economic development, education, health and welfare, and media and communication. He has extensive experience in policy formulation and review, feasibility study and business planning in the areas of innovation and technology (I&T) and economic development.
Albert directed a project to assist the Hong Kong Government with developing a Smart City Blueprint in 2017 – the first ever attempt in Hong Kong to articulate the vision and roadmap of how Hong Kong should transform itself into a smart city. He also led a development strategy of a Common Spatial Data Infrastructure, which is a key element underpinning the Smart City development in Hong Kong. In addition, he led a number of projects for the Government related to smart tourism, spatial data applications and measures supporting the development of local I&T ecosystem. Albert also assisted the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation and Cyberport with strategic projects on areas related to innovation and technology, and reindustralisation.

Prof. Andy Chun is a renowned AI expert with over 30 years of experience in digital innovation. He has significantly improved Hong Kong's social services, living standards, and economic growth through pioneering AI solutions. Prof. Chun is a Professor of Practice at Hong Kong Polytechnic University and an Adjunct Professor at City University of Hong Kong. He has advised numerous companies on technology innovation and previously led technology initiatives at Prudential plc. Prof. Chun has also held CEO positions at AI start-ups and served as the University CIO at City University of Hong Kong. He is a senior advisor to the HKSAR Government and has received multiple awards for his contributions to the tech community.

Alex has over 25+ years of experience in the information technology industry served in international conglomerate with main focus on Fintech as well as currently being the Designated General Manager – Corporate Information Technology for The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited. During all his career life in IT, his main focus has always been on bridging users (external and internal) with technology as that is actually one of the hardest and most challenging area in enabling technology in general. He has recently joined the HKCS Specialist Group called AISG as an Executive Committee member. The objective of the group is to keep HKCS members abreast of the general movement of AI.

In the past 6 years, aside from pushing The Hong Kong and China Gas Company Limited forward with various latest information technology including AI and Generative AI, he values a company’s “Citizen Developer” ability dearly as well. Therefore, he established and led a cultural transformation program where the objectives is to aim for higher adoption rate of “Citizen Developer”. He believes this is a very key element in the journey of Digital Transformation.

Martin Liu has over 15 years of working experience in AI industry. He is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience in developing computer vision solutions and in depth knowledge in product development. Currently Martin is the assistant director of HKSTP.
Prior to this role, Martin was leading the system design and development team of an AI company in developing computer vision solutions for diamond related technology, smart retails, and facial recognition technology. He is inventor of 4 patents. He invented the reddot winner, patented diamond viewer with algorithm for viewing nano scale marking and specific 8A8H pattern on diamond.
Martin holds an Master Degree in E-Commerce and Internet Computing, and Bachelor Degree in Computer Engineering from the University of Hong Kong.

在擔任此職位之前，廖永超曾領導一家人工智能公司的系統設計和開發團隊，開發用於鑽石相關技術、智能零售和人臉識別技術的計算機視覺解決方案。他是4項專利的發明人。他發明了獲得紅點設計獎的專利鑽石觀察器，該觀察器配備了用於觀察鑽石上納米級標記和特定八心八箭的算法。

Professor Helen Meng is Patrick Huen Wing Ming Chair Professor of Systems Engineering and Engineering Management (SEEM) at The Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK). Her research interests lie in AI-enabled speech and language technologies. She serves as Founding Director of the Centre for Perceptual and Interactive Intelligence (CPII) since 2020, which is the CUHK-led InnoCentre on Artificial Intelligence (AI) located in the Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Ltd. In 2019, she was awarded the first Hong Kong SAR Government Research Grant Council’s Theme-based Research Grant in the field of AI, which supports her interdisciplinary team to develop AI-enabled spoken language technologies to screen and diagnose neurocognitive disorder (a.k.a. dementia). Since 2019, Helen has been Co-Principal Investigator and Chair of Curriculum Development of the CUHK-JC AI4Future Project, and developed the first comprehensive pre-tertiary AI education curriculum in Hong Kong, adopted by the Government’s Education Bureau.
Professor Meng received all her degrees from MIT. She founded the Microsoft-CUHK Joint Laboratory for Human-Centric Computing and Interface Technologies in 2005, which is recognized as a Ministry of Education (MoE) of China Key Laboratory since 2008. Professor Meng has served as Associate Dean (Research) of the Faculty of Engineering between 2006 and 2010. In 2006, she founded the Tsinghua-CUHK Joint Research Center for Media Sciences, Technologies and Systems. In 2007, she helped establish the Laboratory for Ambient Intelligence and Multimodal Systems in the Chinese Academy of Sciences Shenzhen Institute of Advanced Integration Technology, through its joint initiative with CUHK. In 2010, she facilitated the establishment (from the CUHK side) the Tsinghua-MIT-CUHK Joint Research Centre for Theoretical Computer Science. In 2012/2013, she served as member of CUHK Shenzhen Academic Planning Subcommittee and became an early contributor towards curriculum design for CUHK(Shenzhen), and has been their Adjunct Professor ever since. In 2013, she helped establish the CUHK Stanley Ho Big Data Decision Analytics Research Centre and serves as its Director. In 2012, Helen was appointed to be the first female Chairman of her department, and also of the Faculty, and served until 2018.
She has delivered numerous plenary, keynote and invited talks at flagship conferences, including Grand Challenge Speaker of the International Conference on Computational Linguistics 2022, Plenary Speaker of IEEE ICASSP 2021, Keynote Speaker of ACL 2021 and Plenary Speaker of INTERSPEECH 2018. Helen and her research team have received various awards, and recent ones include the First Prize of the international DialDoc@ACL 2022 Challenge, Outstanding Women Award of Jessica Magazine, Hong Kong’s SciTech Challenge 2021 Open Category Championship, 2019 IEEE SPS Leo Beranek Meritorious Service Award for service and leadership, 2016 Microsoft Research Outstanding Collaborator Award (one of 32 academics worldwide), 2016 IBM Faculty Award, 2015 ISCA Distinguished Lecturer, various Best Paper Awards, etc. Helen was also the recipient of CUHK’s Exemplary Teaching Award, Young Researcher Award and Service Award in previous years. Helen has also served as the elected Editor-in-Chief of the IEEE Transactions on Audio, Speech and Language Processing, often regarded as the top journal in her field. Helen is a Fellow of the IEEE, ISCA, HKIE and HKCS.
Helen has also served in various government appointments, with the most recent being appointed member of the HKSAR Government’s Digital Economy Development Committee, chaired by the Financial Secretary, where she services as the Convenor of the Talent Cultivation Sub-group.

蒙美玲教授是香港中文大學禤永明系統工程與工程管理學首席教授。她主力進行關於人工智能語音和語言處理方面的研究。 2020年，她協助建立由香港中文大學牽頭設於香港科學園的人工智能創新中心－博智感知交互研究中心有限公司，並擔任中心總監。 2019年，她獲得香港特別行政區政府研究資助局頒發的第一個人工智能主題研究計劃項目，以支持她的跨學科研究團隊開發人工智能語言技術，用於進行神經認知障礙症（俗稱老年痴呆症）的篩查和診斷。 自 2019年，蒙教授肩負為香港中文大學及香港賽馬會「智」為未來計劃的計劃副負責人及課程發展組主領，開發了香港首套切合初中程度的人工智能教育課程，該課程已被香港政府教育局採用。

Ms Ada CHUNG Lai-ling was appointed as the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data in September 2020. She was qualified as a barrister and a Certified Public Accountant. She also has abundant experience in regulatory and administrative work. Before her appointment as the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data, Ms Chung was the Registrar of Companies, Registrar of Money Lenders, and had held various posts in the Department of Justice, including the Deputy Law Officer (Civil Law).

鍾麗玲女士於2020年9月起出任個人資料私隱專員。她具有大律師及專業會計師資格，亦擁有豐富的監管及行政經驗。獲委任為私隱專員前，鍾女士為公司註冊處處長、放債人註冊處處長，並曾於律政司擔任民事法律科副民事法律專員。

Mr LAM commands the Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau of the Hong Kong Police Force. He holds double Master's degrees and has dedicated over 25 years of service to the Force. With extensive policing experience, Mr LAM has focused majority of his efforts on combatting newly emerging and evolving crimes including telecommunication and online fraud, money laundering, cybercrime and cyberattack on an international scale. Leveraging his expertise, Mr. LAM takes charge of several pioneering technical facilities and cutting-edge technologies to support next generation policing and ensure the public can engage safely in the cyber world.

Paul Wan is the Regional Head, Asia Transformation of Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong) Limited. Paul is currently responsible for two main key areas: Transformation of Programme & Project Management under the New Ways of Working; and Center of Excellence for Integrated Risk & Control Management across multiple domains: Conduct, Data Management, Third Party Risk Management and Remote Working

Prior to his current role, Paul have held multiple positions within the Bank covering a wide spectrum of responsibilities in the areas of process improvement, business management in merchant acquiring, operational risk management, technology risk management and information & cyber security management.

As a veteran in the banking industry for over 20 years, Paul pays closed attention on the latest trend of Technology development and how Technology can be used as an enabler to further strengthen and improve customer experience.

Mr Wong is currently the Head of Cyber Security and Technology Risk for New World Corporate Services, a New World Group Member. He is responsible for overseeing and governing for all technology risk and cyber security related compliance & management matters within the group. One of the major tasks of Mr Wong is to define, design and implement a comprehensive and robust risk framework & protection for the group that applies to all Business Units. In addition, Mr Wong is currently the Cyber Security Principle Consultant for Kai Tak Sports Park, which is the symbolic sporting stadium for Hong Kong. He is responsible to design and implement the best cyber security architecture design to ensure its protection system is at the highest level meeting the national security standard.

Prior to that, Mr Wong was with the Hong Kong Police Force for over 10 years and he has held several cyber crime related management positions including being in charge of the Technology Crime investigation team, took up the role of Head of the Cyber Security Centre and the lead of the Collaboration team of the Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau (CSTCB), Mr WONG has gained tremendous amount of experience in technology crime investigation, setting up cyber security framework and handling cyber attacks including the large scaled cyber attacks occurred in Hong Kong.

Mr Wong is an INTERPOL accredited trainer in Computer Forensics, Certified Ethical Hacker, Certified Penetration Tester. Mr. Wong is currently a CUHK EMBA student and obtained a Bachelor’s Degree in Management Economics from University of Essex, United Kingdom.

Dr Gary Yiu is the Head of Risk Management at Hong Kong Interbank Clearing Limited, where he leads the firm’s cyber resilience function. Before this role, he served as the Head of IT Audit at a note-issuing bank in Hong Kong and held the position of Associate Director at one of the Big-4 accounting firms.

With over 20 years of experience in IT and banking, Gary is deeply attuned to developments in Fintech and cybersecurity. In recognition of his expertise, he received the Gold Award in Cyber Security Professional Awards in Hong Kong in 2021. Currently, he is an Executive Committee member of the Cybersecurity Specialist Group in the Hong Kong Computer Society.

Derek Shih is the Deputy General Manager of IT Risk Management at China CITIC Bank International (CNCBI). He currently leads the IT Risk Management team in the second line of defense, focusing on both technology risk management and information and cybersecurity risk management.
Before joining CNCBI, Derek served as an Information Security Risk Officer at Standard Chartered Bank (Hong Kong), where he managed information and cybersecurity risks for the Hong Kong region, as well as for the Consumer, Private, and Business Banking (CPBB) segment at the Group level. Throughout his tenure there, he held various roles in technology risk management, technology service management, and project management, gaining extensive experience in these areas.

施源鑫先生是中信銀行（國際）資訊科技風險管理的副總經理，現負責領導第二道防線的資訊科技風險管理團隊，涵蓋資訊科技風險及資訊和網絡安全風險管理。
在加入中信銀行（國際）之前，施源鑫先生曾在渣打銀行（香港）擔任資訊和網絡安全風險官，負責管理香港地區以及個人、私人及中小企業銀行業務的資訊和網絡安全風險。在任職期間，他在資訊科技風險管理、資訊科技服務管理和項目管理等領域擔任過多個職位，積累了豐富的經驗。

Colin is the Security Consultant at Check Point Software Technologies Limited (Hong Long and Macau) and a seasoned cyber-security professional with plenty of experience in dealing with the ever-changing cyber threats. Before joining Check Point, Colin had worked in the telecommunications industry for about 10 years, serving customers mainly in FSI sectors, with specific focus on both design and implement on digital transformation related solution or solution fulfilling regulator requirement.

Colin holds a Bachelor of Information Technology, Network Programing, from RMIT University, Australia.

Joyce heads the Global Affairs and Research Division of the Office of the Privacy Commissioner for Personal Data (PCPD). Her responsibilities include providing policy advice and developing guidance in relation to personal data protection and international privacy landscape. Representing the PCPD, Joyce is actively involved in international engagements. She also provides legal support to the PCPD in overseeing and enforcing compliance with the local privacy laws.

Joyce holds a Bachelor of Laws degree from and completed the Postgraduate Certificate in Laws at the University of Hong Kong. She was admitted as a solicitor to the High Court of Hong Kong in 2016.

As the Chief Systems Manager (Data Applications) of the Digital Policy Office, Mr Brian Sun’s main duty is to support the implementation of open data policy. He provides coordination and liaison support to bureaux/departments (B/Ds) and other public / private organisations, facilitating them to open up their data on the open data portal (data.gov.hk) for the public’s free use. Mr Sun is also responsible for the maintenance and updates of this open data portal and providing professional advice to B/Ds on the best practices of opening up data and open data formatting.
Mr Sun’s other major duties include supporting, housekeeping and updating the frameworks, standards and services related to data sharing. Mr Sun is also tasked to build and maintain the Consented Data Exchange Gateway which facilitates data sharing among B/Ds, and to provide technical support for B/Ds on data sharing and data interchange initiatives. On issues related to artificial intelligence and big data analytics, Mr Sun provides advisory service to B/Ds for facilitating their development of citizen-centric and data-driven digital government services.

孫宇萬先生是數字政策辦室的總系統經理(數據應用)，主要負責支援開放數據政策的推行，職責包括協調、聯絡和支援局／部門及其他公私營機構在「開放數據平台」網站上開放其數據，讓公眾可以通過這個開放數據入門網站免費使用數據。孫先生亦負責維護和更新「開放數據平台」網站，並就開放數據的良好作業模式及數據格式向局／部門提供專業意見。
孫先生的其他主要職責包括支援、管理和更新與數據共享相關的架構、標準和服務；構建和維護授權數據交換閘，以促進局／部門之間的數據共享；並就數據共享和數據交換的措施落實工作向局／部門提供技術支援。孫先生又為局／部門提供人工智能和大數據分析諮詢支援，從而協助他們開發更多以民為本及數據為本的數字政府服務。

Dr Wang Liwei graduated from UIUC CS. He is currently an Assistant Professor at the CSE department, CUHK, leading the Language and Vision (LaVi) Lab. Dr Wang's main research direction is artificial intelligence, focusing on multi-modal AI. Recently, the main research work of Dr Wang's team focuses on multi-modal understanding and generation, video-language large models, the understanding and evaluation of language models and multi-modal models, etc.

王歷偉博士畢業於美國伊利諾伊大學香檳分校。現在是香港中文大學計算機科學與工程學系助理教授，帶領視覺與自然語言實驗室。王博士主要的研究方向是人工智能，特別是在多模態人工智能方向。近期，王博士團隊的主要研究工作集中在自然語言結合計算機視覺的多模態理解與生成，視頻語言大模型，語言大模型和多模態大模型的理解和評測等。
