NT Cheung is the Head of Information Technology & Health Informatics and Chief Medical Informatics Officer of the Hospital Authority (HA) and also the Consultant for eHealth for the Hong Kong Government. He has taken HA from a virtual “green fields” site to today’s situation where every patient has a complete interoperable electronic patient record which can be accessed by his/her clinical carers in any of the 43 hospitals and 120+ clinics of the HA. The HA’s Clinical Management System (CMS) has been integrated into all the major care delivery process, providing decision support, workflow enablement, and informs the management and planning functions at all levels. His current work focuses on the next generation of the Hospital Authority’s Clinical Management System (CMS), HA’s single integrated patient app (HA Go), and the Smart Hospital concept. Together these will enable new enhanced healthcare service delivery models, with patient-centric personalised care, advanced data driven decision support and risk prediction and enhanced clinical communications and operations.

He also works with the Government to operate and further develop the territory-wide Electronic Health Record Sharing System (eHRSS) and the wider eHealth ecosystem in Hong Kong. The eHRSS provides a standards-based, detailed patient record reaching across nearly 2000 provider organizations in the public and private healthcare sectors.

NT is active in the informatics research and education communities, and is a frequent speaker at international conferences. He holds a medical degree from the University of Sydney and a Master’s degree in computing science from Imperial College, London

Joined Hong Kong Productivity Council (HKPC) in 2018, Mr Edmond Lai is the Chief Digital Officer leading in the digital transformation, robotics and artificial intelligence, smart manufacturing, and Mainland business of the HKPC. Mr Lai is an expert in Industry 4.0 (i4.0) and Enterprise 4.0 (e4.0) business transformation, as well as digital product development, with experience in local and overseas market development.

Prior to joining HKPC, Mr Lai worked in General Electric (GE) for more than 20 years. He successfully completed the management trainee programme in the information technology department of the multinational company, and then had also served in their internal audit and finance functions. He also spearheaded his expertise across other business units, such as aviation, capital, healthcare, plastics, power, transportation, etc., among various regions including Greater China, Australia, Japan, Singapore, Switzerland, the United States, etc. He also assumed regional and global responsibilities to drive the business growth for various industries, such as energy storage, mining, marine, rail, renewable energy, thermal power generation, etc.

Mr Lai held the Bachelor of Engineering (Computer Engineering) and Master of Philosophy (Computer Science) degrees from the University of Hong Kong.

黎少斌先生於2018年加入生產力局，現任首席數碼總監，帶領團隊開拓數碼轉型、機械人及人工智能、智能製造、和內地業務的發展，是工業4.0 (i4.0) 和企業4.0 (e4.0) 的應用技術專家；黎先生熟悉數碼市場趨勢，並擁有豐富的本地與海外業務拓展經驗，銳意透過生產力局的服務協助企業升級轉型。

Dr Crystal Fok is currently the Director for the AIR Platform & Precision Engineering at Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation (HKSTP). She is mainly responsible for the Artificial Intelligence and Robotics (A.I.R) initiative in Science Park to drive innovation and technology for reindustrialisation, especially in Construction, Logistics, Smart manufacturing and Professional Service sectors.

Prior to HKSTP, Dr Fok was a Manager at ASTRI, managing a diverse project portfolio, such as market analysis, feasibility studies, product development and technology commercialization. She was also a Consultant at the Hong Kong Productivity Council, managing the optical design team and providing consultancy service on precision manufacturing.

霍露明博士現為香港科技園公司人工智能、機械人技術平台及精密工程總監。她專責香港科技園內有關於人工智能及機械人技術相關的新方案，推動香港再工業化相關的創新科技，主要應用於建築、物流、智能生產和專業服務行業等領域。

Rockson graduated from NYU Stern School of Business with a Bachelor degree in Finance and International Business.
