He leads the Gartner Greater China Research Community, serves as Conference Shadow Chair for Japan’s Application Innovation & Business Solution Summit, and is a Workforce Development Leaders-as-Teachers Faculty member. Born in Hong Kong and raised in Canada, Deacon is a global business transformation leader with strong technical expertise. He has successfully managed teams and affiliates across Greater China, Europe, Japan, Korea, and the U.S. After over 20 years at Hutchison Whampoa, excelling in product development, operations, and business management, he joined Gartner in September 2016.

He has a strong background in IT consulting and application development, having worked with a diverse range of firms and projects spanning from software companies to banks and retail. Kent began his career as a programmer at IBM before transitioning to developing trading applications at prestigious financial institutions such as Nomura, Citibank, Citadel, and BNP Paribas Asset Management. During his tenure at BNP Paribas Asset Management, Kent served as the Head of Application Development, overseeing the North America Information Technology Development team. In this role, he provided essential support, maintenance, and application development services to various departments including the investment team, risk, operations, and legal compliance. Currently, Kent serves as the Head of Technology (CTO) at DECATHLON Hong Kong. His notable achievements include spearheading the partnership with Adyen in 2023 and successfully revamped HK Decathlon's ecom website in 2024. He established the first Regional Digital Control Centre (RDCC) for big data handling and the E&M AI Lab for AI development, and collaborates globally on various R&D initiatives. The development of Semantic AI provides the foundational layer for E&M digitization, enabling scalable analytics, automation, and smarter city operations. Patrick現任機電工程署（EMSD）高級工程師，參與部門在樓宇機電領域的數字化轉型，專注於大數據與人工智能（AI）技術應用。他牽頭創立了首個區域數碼控制中心（RDCC），構建大數據處理平臺，並成立機電人工智能實驗室（E&M AI Lab），推動AI技術研發與創新。通過與國際合作夥伴的多項研發計劃，他致力於將前沿技術融入城市基礎設施管理。由其推動開發的語義人工智能（Semantic AI）技術，為機電數字化奠定了基礎，實現了可擴展的數據分析、自動化流程及智慧城市運營優化。 Dr Tao YU Chief Technologist, Data Analytics Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI) Dr Tao YU is the Chief Technologist of Data Analytics in AI and Trust Technologies of the Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI). She leads the data analytics team dedicated to developing advanced big data and AI solutions across diverse sectors, including FinTech, smart cities, digital marketing and the Internet of Things (IoT). Her team’s recent work has focused on generative AI solutions to support a wide range of emerging applications. She earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California, Irvine, and has over 20 years of R&D experience in distributed systems, cloud computing, AI and big data analytics. 余濤博士是香港應用科技研究院（ASTRI）人工智能及可信技術部大數據分析首席技術專家。她領導的數據分析團隊致力於為不同領域提供各種先進的大數據與人工智能解決方案，服務於金融科技、智慧城市，數字營銷及物聯網等多個領域。近年來，團隊積極投入生成式人工智能技術的研發，以支持各類新興應用場景。余博士擁有加州大學歐文分校計算機科學博士學位，在分佈式系統、雲計算、人工智能及大數據分析領域擁有超過二十年的研發經驗。

14:00 - 14:25	Leveraging AI for Next-Generation Policing 利用人工智能技術推動新一代的警政服務 Presentation Language: English Mr Swalikh MOHAMMED Senior Superintendent of Police Digital Policing Services Bureau Hong Kong Police Force Mr Swalikh MOHAMMED is currently serving in the Digital Policing Services Bureau of HKPF and is responsible for key projects in areas of digital public engagement, work process re-engineering, digital investigation, and digital culture transformation that aim to provide better services across the Force. He has previously worked in the Cyber Intelligence Division as well as the Technology Crime Division of the Cyber Security and Technology Crime Bureau and has hands-on experience in combating cybercrime in Hong Kong. He was a member of the Police Negotiation Cadre and has keen interests in counter-terrorism and other crisis intervention work. 莫俊傑先生現時領導香港警務處資訊系統部的數碼警政服務課，負責警隊數碼化發展的一些重點項目，包括利用科技推動公眾參與、重組工作流程、提升調查能力及提倡數碼文化轉型等工作，旨在為市民提供更方便和全面的警政服務。他曾在網絡安全及科技罪案調查科的網絡情報組和科技罪案組工作，在打擊香港網絡犯罪方面擁有豐富的實務經驗。他曾是警察談判組成員，對反恐及其他危機處理工作有著濃厚的興趣和心得。
14:30 - 14:55	AI Adoption for TVB Presentation Language: English Mr Rex CHING President MyTV Super Limited Mr Ching was appointed as Group Chief Technology Officer in September 2021 to lead the development and dissemination of technology across all business groups within TVB. He was also appointed as President of MyTV Super Group in January 2022 for overseeing the business, operations and technology development. Mr. Ching also holds directorships in certain subsidiaries of the Company. He joined TVB as Head of Technical Engineering in October 2014. Before joining TVB, Mr. Ching worked in PCCW Solution to lead the IT development for nowTV. He has 26 years of extensive experience in OTT, IT and Telecommunication industries. Mr. Ching holds a Bachelor of Electrical and Electronics Engineering and Master of Economics from The University of Hong Kong. He is also the Corporate Member of The Hong Kong Institution of Engineers.
