Mr Dennis Lee is the Chief Systems Manager of Clinical Systems Architecture and Development under the Information Technology and Health Informatics Division at Hong Kong Hospital Authority (HA). He leads the development of the next generation of Clinical Management Systems, HA Go, Smart Hospital and AI innovation and delivery. He also helped to setup the HA Data Collaboration Lab supporting clincial data research.
As a Business Director at Meta, Dee partners with eCommerce & Travel brands to reach global audiences through Meta's platforms. She also managed Meta’s channel business in Greater China to grow export businesses across verticals. Prior to Meta, Dee worked in management consulting to advise Fortune 500 US companies on digital strategies. After completing her MBA at the Wharton School, she joined Apple at their headquarters to launch the first generation of Homepod and Airpods in global markets.
Fred Sheu is the National Technology Officer at Microsoft Hong Kong, driving alignment between IT solutions and public policy in areas like healthcare, education, and innovation. He promotes digital transformation across key topics including AI, security, and accessibility. A seasoned ICT leader, Fred has served in advisory roles with the Hong Kong Computer Society, itSMF Hong Kong, and HKITF. He sits on VTC’s Innovation and Technology Training Board and convenes its IT sub-committee. Fred also contributes to government initiatives and lectures on AI for Business at HKU and HKUST, while serving as Adjunct Professor at City University of Hong Kong.

Dr. Charm has held senior roles at IBM, Oracle, HSBC, Jardine and Kingdee, authored Digital Power Up, and writes a tech column for Hong Kong Economic Journal. His contributions have been recognized with the Distinguished Alumni Award from CityU Business School (2019) and the Outstanding Doctor of Business Administration Award (2018).

Bo Han is an Associate Professor in Machine Learning and a Director of Trustworthy Machine Learning and Reasoning Group at Hong Kong Baptist University, and a BAIHO Visiting Scientist of Imperfect Information Learning Team at RIKEN Center for Advanced Intelligence Project (RIKEN AIP), where his research focuses on trustworthy and efficient machine learning and reasoning. He received the RGC Early CAREER Scheme, IEEE AI's 10 to Watch Award, IJCAI Early Career Spotlight, INNS Aharon Katzir Young Investigator Award, RIKEN BAIHO Award, Dean's Award for Outstanding Achievement, and Microsoft Research StarTrack Scholars Program.
Alvin Kwock is the Co-founder and CEO of AIFT, leading innovations in AI and cybersecurity. Prior to founding AIFT, he spent 11 years at J.P. Morgan, where he served as Head of Emerging Technology and Head of Research, driving cutting-edge initiatives in finance and technology. A serial entrepreneur, Alvin has successfully built ventures at the intersection of AI, security, and governance. He is also a dedicated educator, sharing his expertise as a guest lecturer at leading universities. Alvin holds both bachelor’s and master’s degrees from the University of Chicago, equipping him with a strong foundation in economics and technology.
Mr Patrick So, Senior Engineer at EMSD, participated the Department’s digital transformation in Building E&M, with a focus on Big Data and AI. He established the first Regional Digital Control Centre (RDCC) for big data handling and the E&M AI Lab for AI development, and collaborates globally on various R&D initiatives. The development of Semantic AI provides the foundational layer for E&M digitization, enabling scalable analytics, automation, and smarter city operations.
Dr Tao YU is the Chief Technologist of Data Analytics in AI and Trust Technologies of the Hong Kong Applied Science and Technology Research Institute (ASTRI). She leads the data analytics team dedicated to developing advanced big data and AI solutions across diverse sectors, including FinTech, smart cities, digital marketing and the Internet of Things (IoT). Her team’s recent work has focused on generative AI solutions to support a wide range of emerging applications. She earned her Ph.D. in Computer Science from the University of California, Irvine, and has over 20 years of R&D experience in distributed systems, cloud computing, AI and big data analytics.
